A good Indian place in Peoria. Tried their biryani and mixed Mandi - both of them were very flavorful. The Mandi was on the spicier end-so be mindful. The biryani had good flavor and quantity was good. Overall a good place.

I am always so impressed with Biryani House! They offer a truly excellent takeout experience every time. The service is consistently fast and efficient, making pickup easy. Most importantly, the food is always fresh and delicious. I especially love their vegetarian specialties: the paneer Kurchan and the pachimirchi paneer pulav. Thank you for providing such reliable quality!

We visited Biryani House in Peoria, IL during their Mandi Weekend with a group of five friends and had a great experience. The ambience was pleasant with calming music, and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, especially with our 13-month-old child. We started with Cut Mirchi, Chilli Baby Corn, and Chicken Pepper Fry — all served hot, fresh, and full of flavor. For the main course, we ordered the Veg Dum Biryani and Chicken Mandi. The veg biryani had just the right spice level and came with raita. The Chicken Mandi was the standout dish — juicy, well-marinated chicken over fragrant rice topped with nuts, delivering a rich, satisfying flavor. Portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted authentic. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore South Indian cuisine!

I had the Chicken Mandi and Lamb Mandi- Both were delicious. Young people who were running the restaurant were attentive and welcoming. Peoria needs good food and here it is !!

First time at an Indian restaurant so I wasn’t sure what to experience. No ice for our water which is fine - European? but the food was pretty delicious. Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan bread (not very garlicky - i wished for more garlic truly - love garlic) and chicken korma. He got spicy hit and said it wasn’t hot enough, and no spices on the table to bring up the heat. Not that the experience was bad - just left a little to be desired I guess.

I recently visited this place, and honestly, the food reminded me of proper Telangana-style flavors. The Mutton Biryani was superb — the mutton was nice and soft, cooked perfectly, and the biryani had that right amount of spice that we Telangana people love. Not too heavy, not too mild… just the perfect kick. The Kaju Kodi Chicken Starter was another highlight. The chicken was juicy, and the cashew flavor blended beautifully with the masala. It had that rich, spicy Telangana touch that makes starters genuinely enjoyable. The Chicken 65 Biryani was full of flavor too. Spicy, tasty, and well-balanced, just like a proper Telangana biryani should be. The Chicken 65 pieces had that perfect masala coating, making each bite really satisfying.Overall, if you enjoy Telangana-style spice, flavor, and that homely touch in your food, these dishes are definitely worth trying. You’ll walk out with a full stomach and a happy mood!

Tried the weekend special at Biryani House in Peoria and it was seriously amazing! The food was fresh, super flavorful, and you could tell it was made with care. We got a few different dishes and loved every bite — especially the Mutton Mandi & Bang Bang Shrimp, which was perfectly spiced. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a great vibe. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

I tried two different kinds of Biryani and found them good, but they were too spicy, even though I requested a mild one. We also tried chicken manchurian soup. The soup tasted ordinary. Google's information is incorrect, and it is hard to find the best menu. They claimed that they maintain halal, which is good. I hope they do this strictly. Remember they charge 3% on credit card use which is not totally acceptable.
